A NEW WEEK BEGINS

It is Sunday afternoon.....we are both feeling a little sluggish today....I don't know if it is just the fact that it is a bit overcast today...looks like it wants to rain or we need more sleep.

Ron's CAT scan came back showing some fluid build up in his abdomen near his wound site. We have to wait Monday morning to see how the doctors want to proceed ...if they want to go in and drain the area ....

They have decreased some of his Lasix IV...he had really good output the last few days.
Some additional adjustments have been made to his pain medication to see if it helps control and /or manage his pain better. The infection has caused him to have much more ongoing pain around his wound site. He continues to have his chronic back pain as well.

Tomorrow will be a very busy day with his echo...his heart cath biopsy and his pacemaker check up...and possibly draining of the fluid build up.
I will try to update the blog tomorrow as soon as things are completed.

Today is the beginning of Holy Week.....let us remember to take a moment to reflect the amazing gift our Lord gave us.....the gift of everlasting life...and the forgiveness of our sins....his death for our life ......we are so blessed to have such a loving God!

"For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him." John 3:16-17
