A HARD DAYS WORK

Ron had his dialysis done again today. It really helped and was much needed. His feet and legs were very swollen today ..they managed to get a lot of fluid off today. I hope he gets another treatment again tomorrow. Surgery has been rescheduled for tomorrow but we do not know the time yet.

He had a good nap durng dialysis as did I.....it was much needed after our 5am wake up call this morning. He was then ready for a good workout. He sat up at the edge of the bed...he dangled his legs and did leg lifts. He then used the exercise pedals and pedaled like he was trying to get out of here. After he rested for a few minutes he asked for help into the regular chair. The nurses tried to stand him up but he was much too weak. He wanted to try a second time and they did...but it was still too much for him. We told him the fact that he even tried was an incredible attempt...and a great effort. We will just try again tomorrow and every day after until he is able to do it. After this workout ...he went into the cadillac chair and sat there for a good hour. Once he was back in bed ...he was ready for some pain medicine and sleep.
So, we shall see what time surgery is tomorrow and I will let everyone know how it goes.

Keep the prayers coming ...I can't imagine life without prayer, without our Lord.

Hi Mary,

Your verse reminded me, that although I know that verse and keep it mind, for the 1st time this year I noticed a small line just a few verses before that said 'I have learned the secret'

It's a wonderful secret to know!

I so appreciate your blog keeping us up to date on how things are going. It helps alot when praying
Just wanted to say I an keeping you all in prayer. Your experience and sharing it with others is helping others to grow in their faith ... when they hear how God is working in your lives through this difficult time. It's wonderful to hear how the Lord stands with us and strengthens us. God bless you. Sharon
