OFF TO SURGERY...OR MAYBE NOT

Ron was scheduled for surgery first thing this morning. They had us up by 5am and down to the O.R. holding area by 6:15am. They finally took him into the O.R. and had him prep'd to go when his sugeon was called back up to the ICU for an emergency. Another patient was coding and had to get to the O.R. immediately for an assisted device. It was a young girl. Ron had no problem allowing them to bumped him until tomorrow. He is doing fine over all. His edema is still there and so he is getting his dialysis treatement right now. We hope to get some more rehab fitted in to his schedule later today as well. Not a whole lot more to report just yet.
